Talent, Tantrums and Sh!Tting Your Pants at the MPDA Finals
Me… seat… edge… yup, that was how it went for the whole time I was watching the finals of Miss Pole Dance Australia last Saturday night in Sydney. The talent was outstanding, the tricks even more dangerous, a competitor walked off-stage and just before going on-stage someone thought they pooped in their pants! One of the judges, Marlo Fisken, said “ her performance stood out, primarily because of her execution and because... Read More
Sydney duo place 3rd at the World Pole champs
Another poetic pole dance performance was given by the lovely duo Michelle Shimmy and Matty Shields at the 2011 World Pole Sport Fitness Championships. The event, held last week in Budapest only introduced the Synchronised Pole Doubles category this year, which was great news for the pair, who placed third. After having seen them at the Asia Pacific Pole Dance Championship in June I knew they’d stand a good chance of picking up a place – and I’m super... Read More
