Australia’s Got Talent judges bemused, then impressed, by male pole dancer
Matty Sheilds gave an awesome pole dance performance on Australia’s Got Talent last night. His mix of skills and humor are a top class combination, and surprised the celebrity judges – Dannii Minogue, Kyle Sandilands and Brian Macfadden.

Once they had heard there’d be a pole dancer on the show both Kyle and Brian got excited, so the looks on their face when the lovely Matty made a presence on stage were priceless.
Once he’d displayed how great core and upper body strength can lead to great moves, like the flag, their shock at him being a guy in just his undies turned to appreciation for skill.
Matty is a great guy, I met him down at a pole dance competition in Botany, and his personality off-stage is as beautiful as on it. Maybe my claim to fame will be that I got to clean his dance pole before he performed.
Capitalising on the audience’s reaction was a great move, and caters for the cheekiness you can see lurking behind the sweet smile.
I’m really happy that all the judges voted him through, so we can get to see him again.
